Because in Noble gases the outer most shell is always filled completely.
These are least reactive gasses.
Noble gases are inert by nature.
Noble gases are inert elements and their properties are different from all the other elements.
They are extremely non-reactive and they can occur in nature by themselves and don’t need another element to stabilize them.
Noble gases are not fit into metal or non-metal group.
Most of the Noble gasses are non-reactive at room temperature.
Since, noble gases are inert and all of them show similar properties, thus they have unique properties compare to other elements, thus they are placed in a separate group in Periodic Table.
