  • 1

The Mahabharata is one of the two major epics of ancient India, composed by the sage Vyasa. It is a long and complex narrative that tells the story of the Kurukshetra War, a great battle fought between two branches of a royal family—the Pandavas and the Kauravas. The Mahabharata also includes moral teachings, philosophies, and stories of heroes, gods, and sages. One of its most important sections is the Bhagavad Gita, a conversation between Prince Arjuna and Lord Krishna. The Mahabharata has been a significant cultural, religious, and literary influence in Indian history.
