What is the difference between stars and planets in the sky?

Stars are massive, glowing balls of gas that produce their own light and heat, like our Sun. They appear to twinkle in the night sky because of the Earth’s atmosphere. Planets, on the other hand, do not produce their own light. They reflect the light of stars, and they appear steady or non-twinkling. Planets orbit around stars, while stars remain fixed in their positions in space.
