What is meant by volume?

  • 0

Volume refers to the amount of space that an object or substance occupies. It is a measure of how much space is inside a container or how large an object is. For example, the volume of a liquid like water is measured in liters (L) or milliliters (mL), while the volume of a solid object might be measured in cubic centimeters (cm³). We can measure the volume of liquids using a measuring cup or bottle, and the volume of irregular solids can be found using water displacement. Volume helps us understand the size of an object or the capacity of a container.
