What is brahman according to Vedantic philosophy?

In Vedantic philosophy, as explained in class 6th social science NCERT, Brahman refers to the ultimate reality or universal soul. It is eternal, infinite, and present everywhere. Brahman is described as the source of all creation and the essence that pervades everything in the universe.
