निम्नलिखित पत्रों के कथ्य को सार के रूप में लिखिएः सं. 102/न-3/8-03 दिनांकः 18 अगस्त, 2011 प्रेषकः जि़लाधिकारी देहरादून सेवा में, अवर सचिव ग्राम पंचायत विभाग उत्तराखंड सरकार देहरादून विषयः ग्राम पंचायत कार्यालय के कर्मचारियों के लिए पर्वतीय भत्ते की स्वीकृति के संबंध में। महोदय, इस जि़ले के लिए स्वीकृत वर्ष 2010-11 के बजट में पर्वतीय भत्ते के लिए प्रावधान नहीं रखा गया है। पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में अन्य स्थानों की अपेक्षा महँगाई अधिक है। इसी वजह से उत्तराखंड के पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में कार्यरत समस्त सरकारी कर्मचारियों को पर्वतीय भत्ता दिया जाता है। पर्वतीय भत्ता देने का प्रावधान इस जिले पर भी लागू होता है। इस संबंध में सरकार से अनुरोध है कि वर्ष 2010-11 के बजट में ग्राम पंचायत कर्मचारियों को पर्वतीय भत्ते का भुगतान करने हेतु इस मद में रु. 15,00,000/- (रुपए पंद्रह लाख मात्र) की व्यवस्था की जाए और पिछले साल खर्च हुई राशि के लिए कार्य हो जाने के पश्चात् मंजूरी प्रदान की जाए।
