Why is water essential for the body?

Water is essential for the body because it helps in many vital functions. It aids in digestion, helps transport nutrients and oxygen to cells, and removes waste products through urine. Water also helps in regulating body temperature by sweating and keeps the skin hydrated. About 60% of the human body is made up of water, making it crucial for the proper functioning of all organs and systems. Without enough water, the body cannot work properly.
