Dew is seen in the morning because, during the night, the ground cools down. As the temperature drops, the water vapor in the air condenses into tiny droplets when it comes in contact with cooler surfaces like grass, leaves, or the ground. This is called condensation. Dew is often visible early in the morning before the sun heats up the ground again.
