It stores salts, sugar, amino acids, organic acids and some proteins. 2. Metabolic wastes of the cell are dumped in the vacuole. 3. Lysosomal enzymes occur in the vacuole of plant cell. 4. The vacuole contains cell sap and helps in maintaining turgidity of the cell. 5.
