      AP has always an common difference but this ap has no same common difference so, It is not an AP.

      2, 4, 8, 16, . . .
      a₂ – a₁ = 4 – 2 = 2
      a₃ – a₂ 8 – 4 = 4
      a₄ – a₃ = 16 – 8 = 8
      The difference between the successive terms are not same Hence, it is not an A.P.
