Which civilization is considered Indias first?

India’s first civilization is considered to be the Indus Valley Civilization, which flourished around 2500 BCE along the banks of the Indus River and its tributaries. It was known for its advanced urban planning, with well-organized cities like Mohenjo-daro and Harappa. Features such as drainage systems, granaries, and standardized weights and measures highlight its sophistication.
