What is linear motion?

  • 1

Linear motion is the movement of an object along a straight path. In this type of motion, the object moves in one direction without changing its path. For example, a car driving down a straight road or a ball rolling in a straight line are examples of linear motion. The object moves from one point to another, and the path remains straight, without any curves or bends. Linear motion can happen at a constant speed or with changing speed.
