      50° + x = 180° [∵ Linear Pair]
      ⇒ x = 180° – 50° = 130° and
      y = 130° [∵ Vertically Opposite Angles]
      Hence, x = y = 130°
      Since, alternate angles are equal. Hence, AB||CD.
