There are many advantages, if an organism reproduces through spores.
      Advantages of spore formation:
      • Large numbers of spores are produced in one sporangium.
      • Spores are distributed easily by air to far-off places to avoid competition at one
      place.
      • Spores are covered by thick walls to prevent dehydration under unfavourable
      conditions.

      Spores formed are covered by
thick walls that protect them from adverse conditions. During favourable condition thick resistant wall breaks down and new organism grows from it.
Spores are very light weight and they easily get dispersed through winds which give them more variations and thus better chances of survival.

The spores are covered by thick wall that protects them from unfavorable conditions like lack of food, water or high temperature. But as the conditions become favorable these spores can grow to produce new plant.
So, an organism will be benefited if it reproduces through spores.

The spores are covered by thick walls that protect them until they come into contact with suitable moist surface and can begin to grow. Thus spores help in survival of an organism during unfavourable conditions, until the return of suitable conditions.
