Acar runs at a uniform rate on a circular track of radius 100m taking 62.8 s on each lap. What is the average velocity and average speed of car for one complete lap?
Radius of circular track = 100 m
Time for one complete lap = 62.8 s
Calculating Average Speed:
Speed = Total distance / Total time
Total distance covered in one lap = Circumference of the circle
= 2πR = 2 × 3.14 × 100 = 628 m
Average speed = 628 / 62.8 = 10 m/s
