Using Ohm’s law: V=IR Given: V=200V, R = 100Ω Current:
I = V/R = 200/100 =2A Charge flow in 1 second:
Q = I × t = 2 × 1 = 2C
Number of electrons:
n = Q/e = 2/1.6 × 10−¹⁹
= 1.25 × 10¹⁹
Correct answer: (a) 1.25×10¹⁹

  1. The correct answer is (b) 2.5 × 10¹⁸. Using Ohm’s law,
    I = V/R =200V/100Ω =2A. The charge flow per second is
    Q = It = 2C. The number of electrons is
    Q/e = 2/(1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹) = 2.5 ×10¹⁸.
