Let “s” be the distance covered, then –
t₁ = s/2/3 = s/6
s/2 = 4.5t₂ + 7.5t₃ = 12t₂
Average Speed = Total Distance/Total Time
= S / s/6 + s/24 + s/24
= 4 m/s
