When a ray of light passes through a medium without deflecting its path, the medium appears as a transparent medium. Light passes though glass or water without any deviation (or least deviation), this makes glass or water transparent.

It is existence of such forces which has help the planets, stars, galaxies, etc. in their respective position. Due to gravitation force, things always fall to the Earth. In the absence of these forces, we would have been floating in the atmosphere. Some heavenly bodies can be seen with the help of naked eyes, while there are some stars which cannot be seen with the help of naked eyes.
If we could see such forces, the world would be seen surrounded by various rays which will be crossing each other like a maze. The confusion will be so great that one will not be able to understand which path to follow or which is restricted.
