Who was Xuanzang?

Xuanzang was a Chinese Buddhist monk, scholar, and traveler who visited India in the 7th century. He traveled to India to seek Buddhist scriptures and to study at the famous Nalanda University. Xuanzang’s journey took him through many regions of India, where he learned about Indian culture, philosophy, and religion. He spent many years in India, studying under various scholars and collecting important texts. His accounts of his travels, known as Si-yu-ki, provide valuable insights into India’s history, culture, and religious practices during that time.
