How is the silk moths life cycle similar to that of a mosquito?

The life cycle of a silk moth is similar to that of a mosquito because both go through four stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. In both insects, the larval stage is when they grow and develop, and the pupa stage is a resting phase where they transform into adults. These stages allow both insects to undergo metamorphosis, changing from one form to another.
