  2. (i) In ΔABD and ΔACD,
    ∠ADB = ∠ADC [∵ Each 90°]
    AB = AC [∵ Given]
    AD = AD [∵ Common]
    Hence, ΔABD ≅ ΔACD [∵ RHS Congruency Rule]
    BD = DC [∵ CPCT]
    Hence, AD bisects BC.

    (ii) ∠BAD = ∠CAD [∵ CPCT]
    Hence, AD bisects angle A.
