  1. Common communicable diseases in humans include influenza (flu), common cold, measles, chickenpox, tuberculosis, cholera, typhoid, malaria and dengue. These diseases are caused by pathogens like viruses, bacteria or protozoa and spread through air, water, food, direct contact or insects. Maintaining hygiene, avoiding contact with sick individuals, using clean water and getting vaccinated help in preventing these infections and keeping ourselves and others safe.
