I sketched my coaster, measured wood, cut it with a saw, smoothened with sandpaper, and applied varnish. Tools I used were ruler, saw, sandpaper, hammer, and brush for finishing.

To make my bamboo pen stand, I cut a piece of bamboo culm using a hacksaw. I then fixed it in a bench vice and sanded the rough outer surface until smooth. The top edges were trimmed neatly. Finally, I applied varnish to protect and decorate it. The tools I used included a hacksaw, sandpaper, measuring tape, bench vice and brush. This process gave me a polished and useful product.
