Why is it not safe to play on the footpath, as explained in Chapter 3 of Class 4 English Santoor?

  • 0

Playing on the footpath is unsafe because it can distract you from traffic and bring you close to moving vehicles. Chapter 3 advises against it since footpaths are meant for walking, not for playing or running near roads.

Be Smart, Be Safe Chapter 3 explains that footpaths are meant for safe walking, not playing. Playing on the footpath can distract children and lead them closer to the road or moving traffic, increasing the risk of accidents. Children might suddenly run onto the road while playing, which can be very dangerous. The footpath should be used calmly and responsibly. By avoiding playful activities on footpaths, children can stay alert and safe while walking in busy areas.
