Leaves appear green because they contain chlorophyll, a color that absorbs light in the blue and red wavelengths and reflects light in the green wavelengths. Chlorophyll is an essential color for photosynthesis, the process by which shops convert sun into energy. During photosynthesis, chlorophyll absorbs sun and uses it to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen. The absorbed sun provides the energy demanded for this process.
Some leaves are safe to eat, while others are toxic and should not be consumed. However, it is important to be aware that not all leaves are safe to eat. Edible leaves can be found in many different plants, including vegetables, herbs, and fruits. To learn more about which leaves are safe to eat and which are not. These leaves can be eaten raw or cooked and are a good source of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

Can you provide me a video for the process of photosynthesis? 😕
Leaves appears green because it contain plastids which are of three types leucoplasts( colourless)
,chromoplast(mainly green, orange and red in colour) and chloroplast which contain green pigment call chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is a green coloured, natural and the primary pigment, present in all green plants.
