    We must know that, Hydrochloric acid (HCl) and carbon tetrachloride (CClâ‚„) form a covalent bond due to sharing of a pair of electrons between two atoms. Here, HCl is a polar covalent compound and (CClâ‚„) is a non-polar covalent compound. On the other hand, sodium chloride (NaCL) and potassium chloride (KCl) form ionic compounds as they consist of positive and negative ions. Hence, you should go with the option [B] as an answer.
