  1. When our body first encounters a pathogen, it learns to fight it by creating memory cells. These cells “remember” the invader. If the same pathogen enters the body again, the immune system quickly recognizes and attacks it more strongly and efficiently. This faster and stronger immune response helps the body recover quickly and even prevent illness, showing the power of acquired immunity.
