Share
Platelets are responsible for clotting of blood. If there are no platelets, the blood would not clot in case of an injury. This will lead to excess blood loss and finally in death of the person.

The platelets in the blood help in blood clotting. If there are no platelets in the blood, bleeding in any part of our body due to an injury/cut will not stop .
Platelets in the blood are like tiny superheroes that help in stopping bleeding when we get hurt. If there were no platelets or very few, even small cuts could bleed a lot and take a long time to stop. This could be risky as our body might not be able to heal properly. Having enough platelets is important to stop bleeding and keep us healthy after injuries.
