The moral of “The Tinkling Bells” is that honesty is always the best choice. Even when Chinna could have used the extra money to buy something he wanted, he chose to return it, showing integrity. His mother’s guidance helps him understand right from wrong. This story encourages children to think before they act, be truthful, and show empathy toward others. It also shows how good actions are often rewarded, not always with gifts, but with appreciation and respect.
