Air is a mixture of gases primarily composed of:

      1. Nitrogen (N2): Approximately 78% of air is nitrogen.
      2. Oxygen (O2): Around 21% of air consists of oxygen.
      3. Trace Gases: Other gases such as argon, carbon dioxide, neon, helium, methane, krypton, hydrogen, and water vapor form the remaining 1% of air.

These gases collectively make up the composition of Earth’s atmosphere, providing the essential elements for life and various natural processes.

Air contains some water vapour, dust particles and gases. The gases in air are mainly nitrogen, oxygen, small amount of carbon dioxide, and many other gases. In fact, nitrogen and oxygen together make up 99% of the air. The remaining 1% is constituted by carbon dioxide and a few other gases, water vapour and dust particles.
