Diffusion is the process by which particles spread out to fill the available space. Both solids and liquids can diffuse into other liquids.

  1. Diffusion is the process by which particles move from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration, resulting in their even distribution. While solids diffuse very slowly, liquids diffuse more readily.
