Questions No: 6
The sound from a mosquito is produced when it vibrates its wings at an average rate of 500 vibrations per second. What is the time period of the vibration?
Share
The time period of vibration can be calculated using the formula:
Time Period = 1/Frequency
Given:
Frequency of mosquito’s wings = 500 vibrations per second
Using the formula:
Time Period = 1/(500 vibrations/second)
Time Period = 0.002 seconds
Therefore, the time period of the vibration of the mosquito’s wings is 0.002 seconds.
