An example of age-based discrimination can be seen when an elderly family member gives advice about an important family decision, but younger people ignore it simply because of their age. They may assume that the older person cannot understand modern situations. This is unfair because age does not necessarily reduce a person’s wisdom or experience. Everyone’s opinion should be considered respectfully before making a decision.
