8x+4=3(x-1)+7
⇒ 8x+4=3x-3+7 ⇒ 8x-3x=-3+7-4 ⇒5x-0
⇒ x=0/5=0
To check:
8x+4=3(x-1)+7
⇒ 8×0+4=3(0-1)+7 ⇒ 0+4=3x(-1)+7 ⇒ 4=-3+7
⇒ 4=4 ⇒ L.H.S. = R.H.S.
