  1. Let’s change quarters into parathas. Raman ate 7/4 = 1¾ parathas. Radhika ate 6/4 = 1½ parathas. Maa ate 8/4 = 2 parathas. Dadiji ate 10/4 = 2½ parathas. Baba ate 12/4 = 3 parathas. On the number line, these points are clear when I mark in steps of 1/4. It helps me see exactly how much each one ate.
