  1. A full turn means a complete circle. One quarter turn is one-fourth of the circle, so four such turns make the full circle. For instance, the minute hand of a clock makes four quarter turns in one hour: from 12 to 3, 3 to 6, 6 to 9 and finally 9 back to 12. Hence, a full turn equals four quarter turns.
