      Your classroom poster should display a river flowing through a village. Show houses using piped water, farms with irrigation canals, boats transporting goods and fishermen with nets. Draw trees and animals near the river. Include a dam upstream and a water treatment plant. You can also add people bathing, temples near the banks and labels like “drinking water,” “livelihood,” and “irrigation” to highlight river benefits.
