Simple Interest = ₹45, Rate (R) = 9% p.a., Time (T) = 1 years
Simple Interest = PXRXT/100
⇒ 45 = PX9X1/100
⇒ P = 45×100/9X1
⇒ P = ₹ 500
Hence, she borrowed ₹500.
