  1. Temperature has a significant impact on a material’s magnetic properties. As temperature increases, the thermal energy causes magnetic domains within the material to become misaligned, weakening the overall magnetism. If the temperature reaches a certain point, known as the Curie temperature, the material can lose its magnetism entirely as the domains become completely randomized. Conversely, cooling a magnet typically enhances its magnetic strength by reducing thermal agitation and promoting domain alignment.
