How do ants and birds help in predicting weather changes?

  1. Ants, birds, and other animals often behave differently before weather changes. For example, ants carrying eggs to higher places suggest heavy rain may be coming. Birds flying low may indicate low pressure and an approaching storm. Frogs croaking loudly also signal rainfall. These behaviours are nature’s clues and have been used by communities for centuries to predict weather. Such signs are especially useful in rural areas and remain part of traditional weather forecasting methods even today.
