  1. √2x² + 7x + 5√2 = 0
    solving the quadratic equation, we get
    √2x² + 7x + 5√2 = 0
    ⇒ √2x² + 5x + 2x 5√2 = 0
    ⇒ x(√2x + 5) +√2(√2x + 5) = 0
    ⇒ (√2x + 5) (x + √2) = 0
    ⇒ (√2x + 5) = 0 or (x + √2) = 0
    Either x = – 5/√2 or = – √2
    Hence, the roots of the given quadratic equation are – 5/√2 and – √2.
