    1. The correct answer is (b) (ii) and (iii). Asthma and diabetes are non-communicable diseases. They do not spread through contact or infection. These are mostly caused by genetic, environmental or lifestyle factors. Typhoid and measles, on the other hand, are communicable diseases caused by pathogens and can spread from one person to another.
