  1. Take three bread slices. Keep one in a warm place, one in the fridge and one in an airtight container. All should be slightly moist. Observe after three days. You’ll find mold growing fastest in the warm, airy place. Little or no growth happens in the cold or airtight conditions. This shows microorganisms grow best when temperature, air and moisture are at optimal levels.
