Trees absorb carbon dioxide, so their absence increases greenhouse gases, causing climate change. It affects rainfall, increases temperatures and contributes to natural disasters like floods and droughts. Deforestation reduces soil fertility, disturbs the water cycle and endangers future generations by destroying our natural resources and ecological stability.
