  1. I agree entirely with the statement. The Bhakti tradition became virtually indestructible because it detached religious practice from stationary monuments and elite priestly classes. Saints like Kabir, Mirabai and Guru Nanak composed memorable vernacular poetry (dohas and padas) that commoners could memorize, sing in households and carry across geographical regions. When physical shrines faced destruction during wars, this internal, portable devotion kept cultural identity and spiritual traditions vibrantly alive.
