  1. Looking at the fractions, whenever the numerator is bigger than the denominator, the value is more than one. So, 9/4, 9/4, 5/4, 7/3, 13/11, 12/5, and 12/8 are greater than 1. For example, 12/8 = 1½, 13/11 = 1 and 2/11. Fractions like 7/9 or 2/5 are less than one, so they are not circled.
