  1. My elder shared that rivers were clean, full of fish and people bathed in them safely. They had seasonal floods but no pollution. Over time, more people, industries and plastic waste polluted rivers. Untreated sewage flows into rivers now and many dried ponds and wetlands are gone. This change is due to urban growth and poor management of water bodies.
