A person suffering from farsightedness (hyperopia) has difficulty seeing nearby objects clearly. Hyperopia occurs when light entering the eye is focused behind the retina, causing nearby objects to appear blurry. This condition can often be corrected with convex lenses, which converge light rays onto the retina to improve close-up vision.
