The work done in rotating a dipole in a uniform electric field is given by W = PE (cosθ₁ – cosθ₂). From 0° to 60°, work done is W = PE(1 – 1/2) = PE/2. From 0° to 180°, work done is PE(1 – (-1)) = PE(2) = 4W. Hence, the answer is (c) 4W.
