Sound can be produced by striking, plucking, scratching, rubbing, blowing, or shaking different objects.
When sound waves reach our ears, they cause vibrations in the eardrum. These vibrations are then transmitted through the auditory system, where they are converted into nerve impulses that our brain interprets as sound.
Sound is transmitted through a medium, such as air, water, or solids, via the propagation of mechanical vibrations. These vibrations create waves that travel through the medium, carrying the sound energy.
The conservation of energy principle states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed from one form to another. This principle applies to all energy types, including sound.
